These are usually small situated in town centres, or near motorway junctions. Serviced Offices can be a very cost effective way of having a professional environment in which to work, and to greet visitors/clients, with a reduced staff, and at relatively fixed cost. It also provides flexibility, in that you can often move within the premises to a larger/smaller unit, when available. Can be an ideal solution for new or very small businesses, where appearance/professionalism is important.
The following is often included in the cost of rental:
- A furnished and decorated office
- Electricity
- Heating
- Lighting
- Toilet facilities
- Kitchen facilities
- A reception facility, which answers your phone in the name of your business, and at which your visitors are greeted
- Maintenance of the building interior/exterior.
Many will also include a parking space(s), and the facility, for a charge, of typing, photocopying, fax, computer forwarding/message, board and meeting room services.
